Rebranding to signal change
Pacific Simulators

Introduction

PacSim manufactures premium quality Flight Training Devices for the global pilot training market. Their focus is on building certified FTDs for Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 and Generic Jets.

Part of their business was also the supply and licencing of devices used in the entertainment industry with supported devices in 18 countries. However, they have moved out of this market to focus solely on the aviation industry.

They came to Big Agency looking for a new website, and once we started discussions it became clear that rebranding was a critical first step in representing this changed and refocused organisation.

Once the branding was updated rollout commenced.

Our Rationale

PacSim is focused on setting the benchmark in technologically advanced and immersive flight training systems for airlines and aviation training organisations around the globe.

Our design responds to the strategic positioning that the brand is the market leader; conveying the international scale and industry stewardship.

The abstractions and geometric nature of the brandmark visually articulate the brand’s namesake and fundamental intent. The typographical elements invoke the qualities of constancy and stewardship.

They now have a logo which is forward focused, and conveys the premium nature of their product.

Branding Rollout

A full brand rollout has been completed which included:

  • Building signage and branding
  • A new website
  • Marketing collateral
  • Corporate collateral

Results to date have been extremely positive with the company now securing contracts with the biggest players around the Globe.

We look forward to watching this innovative product take on the aviation training market and secure its dominance in this ever-changing market.
